This home in Concord, California, presented several design challenges, including a very small living room, popcorn ceilings, and uneven walls.

We completed a full renovation, updating the lighting and creating smooth wall and ceiling finishes. In the kitchen, we added two skylights to make the most of its soaring ceiling and fill the space with natural light. We also added decorative wall moldings and furnished every room.

The clients’ favorite features include the kitchen’s vintage gallery wall—a curated arrangement of framed artwork and decorative objects—and the outdoor daybed swing.
